Trap, I hate that game and I won't even shoot it with my 10 ga. I think we should stick to skeet, it's more challenging since there is more variety of targets which makes it more difficult. Ok, how about 4 targets?
Woody, did you already forget that we were going to split the winnings? ;D

Anyone want to from SW Indiana, let me know. I can take any of 2-3 various routes to get there (I-64 to 65 and up); via Bedford or Bloomington. Just let me know as I have plenty of room to haul stuff.

mbogo, i think you mean station 7 as the last station is in the middle and goes fast over head. i hope no one is taking me serious on this......... h.h. I wasn't taking you seriously, I will probably only shoot one round with a shotgun and it will probably be trap since that is easier for Carrie. No, I'm actually talking about station 8, it seems to be the hardest for most people, especially with an unmounted gun but one of the easiest for me. I shoot better when I don't have time to overthink the shot. Stations 1,2, 6, and 7 are relatively easy stations but they are easy for everyone. Since I'm not that good at most stations I have an advantage where most others are at their worst. ;D

last year we all never got to talk and meet each other as much as i wanted because we ate and went right to the range. after everyone got done shooting no one stayed around and every one went home. i might not even shoot this year and just sit around and BS and if its as hot as it was last year then i know I'm not shooting.
i think maybe we should concentrate more on getting to know one another. last year there were a couple of people i never got to talk to. h.h.

HH--I totally agree with this!!! The "mingling" time was very nice, and we didn't get to mingle as much at the range because of the noise levels and the fact that most of us had to wear hearing protection or go instantly deaf under that concrete awning!!! Maybe we can work this into the schedule so that more time is scheduled for "mingling" and the shooting is just a side activity?

With all the great ideas posted on this site we should spend our time coming up with our Manifesto! Woody could be our Party Chairman. I don't think we can take the White House this late in the game; maybe we better aim for the State House.

Due you think we can get to the park with all this flooding? I saw pictures of Hi-way 31 completely flooded at Edinburgh and parts of I65 were closed. h.h.

If there is a problem getting to the park now we've got 6 days for the water to go down.
I'll call them in a couple days to see what is going on..

WE ARE GOOD TO GO!!I talked to the Johnson County Park people again. They say there is no problems at the park. Even the day after the monsoon hit they had people at the shelter houses picnicing and having good time I hope that everyone that can make will make it. Woodmaster, jgrimm and msyelf will be there about 9 am to set up. Anyone else that can make it that early to help it will be appreciated. We have no scheduled events other than: 1) Maybe getting in a round or two of trap and/or skeet. 2) Of course the required BS session. 3) Art is bringing his archery target and we will both have our crossbows so if anyone would like to fling a few they can. Bring any archery equipment that you would a want to use. Maybe get a $$ shoot going? 4) If anyone has any outdoor gear to sell or trade, bring it. 5) Bring you trophy pictures and/ or hunting albums to share I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and putting faces with names from here.
