I'm with ya! For two years now every time it snows I do my drive, then the roads in the neighborhood, then head to my moms. I could spend hours doing that.

Plus it is sooooooooo much faster. You must have little baby lawn tracors We've got a cub cadet 3000 series, has a fully hydraulic blade. Makes snow removal easy. And we just leave the chains on all year. But I will agree plowing with an atv would be much more fun. But I don't think I could put on on my raptor 660

We do a lot of drives in neighborhoods, but we do it the QUICK WAY, Boss 8'2" or 9'2" v-blades. 1 or 2 passes and you have the cleanest drive around. We can get up to $50 for a drive or 5 minutes of work. For $50 we might put down, so ice melt. 1st snowfall we made out good, just got our BIG payment, still owed quite a bit but the contract payed today ;D

All I know is you DO NOT want to push snow with an OLD Allis WD with a snow blade on the loader! I did our driveway after Christmas in 2002 (when we had 8+ inches Christmas Eve). I was the most frustrated SOB you've ever seen!
You need 6 hands and three feet to do it effectively!! 2 hands for the wheel, one for the throttle, one for the hydraulics, one for the gearshift, and one for the hand clutch. One foot for each of the brake pedals and the foot clutch...
Since then I've decided that our four-wheel drive trucks are more than adequate!! ;D

Deertracks...... Curious what your blade setup costs for your Polaris.... I'm thinking about getting one for my Xpedition if I can make it come in under the cost of a good snowblower.

Deertracks...... Curious what your blade setup costs for your Polaris.... I'm thinking about getting one for my Xpedition if I can make it come in under the cost of a good snowblower. Polaris had some special promotional package options available in 2005 when I was working a deal on my new Sportsman 400. For example the 2.5 Warn Winch was only $79.00. Currently you are probably looking @ $800.00+ if you go with their Glacier System, depending on the size of winch, blade, and installation costs. I purchased the 48" Glacier Blade Set-up so the blade is not wider than my ATV if I haul it with the blade attatched. I love it! Quick & easy to hook, unhook, & operate.
