I've seen a few reports and talked to a few people who have been finding some small blacks in far southern Indiana. I also talked to a guy that said he had found some small blacks in Ravina Woods near Paragon, Indiana - but wasn't sure wether to believe him or not  Anyone finding any ?? |

Went last night and just found some Elephant Ears. I dont eat them. Mayapples are also coming up.

Yeah I have been getting the atv & chainsaw ready for mushroom season. I just hate having to quarter them out in the woods. I prefer to winch & skid them out in one piece & one trip.  ;D |

I found a nice blacks today in Vermillion County. Should be more this weekend.

My wife and I found ten blacks yesterday ( april 9 ) in Decatur county and they were pretty fresh. The wife, a comparitive novice, humiliated me in the most time honored way by pointing at a big one right by my foot that I hadn't seen and saying "Are you gonna pick that one?"

Do any of you guys dehydrate morels? If so what time and temp. do you use?
