New York has more rules and regulations than a lot of other states, starting with the ownership of firearms, you would not believe the red tape that residents of that state have to go thru to just buy a handgun. Rules and regulations are good as long as they are well thought out. New York went safety nuts and regulated to death. Wait a minute doesn't H Clinton live in New York.
Most teens that I have been around only want to play with their computers, platstations, etc. I have talked to both of my Granddaughters that live with me. One wanted to and took the hunters ed course, did quite will thank you. Since she has a learning disability I am quite proud of her. The other one just said no thank you and went to her room and electronic games.
If they want to go just take them and let them sit with you, explain everything going on in the woods. Forget about getting anything that day. Put up a couple of buddy ladders for this. Rural King has some cheaper ones as does Menards. Take along snacks, something to help stay warm with, soda's. good luck.
