It`s only 3 days off-what`s everyone doing for their wife/girl friend for Valentines Day? I`m sending my girl the usual roses at work, and I got her 1/2 carat diamond earings-spent waaaay too much on them, but they`ll look great on her, and anyway, it`s worth it. What is everyone else doing?

Mbogo and I are still debating what to do, but we'll probably end up doing something special after the 14th. Both of us have decided that we don't want to go out to eat on Valentine's Day, because neither of us has a particular fondness for dealing with crowds!! Mbogo is an excellent cook, and I'd love it if he cooked that night for me. He usually sends me flowers, which I think is a very lovely gesture and one that I enjoy every time he "indulges" me. I enjoyed my Valentine's Day flowers last year for at least a week on my desk-- So I'm not sure what we will do--any ideas? Score!!!! ;D Diamond earrings (especially diamond stud earrings in my opinion) are always an excellent choice--they go with anything and look so nice! Every girl could use a pair.

Wife told me not to worry about V-Day because I been very busy at work with a new project. OK how many fellas out their think for a moment if I do what she said that you'll see any more posts from me after the 14th. So I am thinking some nice bath lotions, stuff teddy bear, and Roses (funny how flower prices double around this time of the year).

I'm kind of unhappy about my wife's mood swings so for last Valentine's Day I bought her a mood ring. That way I could be able to monitor her moods. I've discovered that when she in a good mood, it turns a beautiful shade of green. When she is in a bad mood, it leaves a big red mark on my forehead. Maybe next time I'll buy her a diamond..

I must be very lucky on this one. My wife says that it is a waste of money to buy something expensive for V-day, a card is more than enough. But then again she just had Christmas and her Birthday so it does seem to fall to close to be important. So I guess I will grill a couple of steaks for supper.

Here's an epic that I wrote for my wife back in the mid 80s. She still get a kick out of it.
Love in the 21st century
This modern age of automation's greatly changed infatuation Listen and I'll tell you what I mean
What with all the parts & implants there is an increasing chance the one you love is partially machine
It's great to have these express trains, and nowadays our aer-o-planes Are ultra fast, they fly at super sonic
But it robs us of the bliss when the one we love, we kiss And later learn their upper lip's bionic
Notwithstanding love's still grand, and if you'll take me by the hand Our life on earth will be a bit like heaven
So on this day of Valentine, it's my desire that you be mine And I will pledge to you my Jarvik seven
I can't help it. The day just bring out the usually hidden romantic in me! parson

We don't do valentines day.... With Christmas and our anniversary being so close to it we just skip it.... I took the day off work and we will probably just sit at home with the kids and enjoy some family time...

I usually get mine a comical card to make her smile and a teddy bear, but she opined that this year she'd be hapier with an article of clothing. I'm currently in search of something "easy access"... ;D

Don't forget to hide the diamond ear-rings somewhere among the 7 course meal!!!! So I'm not sure what we will do--any ideas?
