I has anyone gotten a response from emails sent to council memebers? I know they all have other fulltime jobs, so maybe they don't have time to respond. It who be nice to know where they stand before the full vote.

Jack.... I'm confused then, I thought that they we would have gotten a "No Pass" if we would have won the majority on the vote. They had that vote to strike the proposal that failed, then they had the 2nd vote on the recommendation and had the tie. I thought that the tie meant that it goes forward with no recommedation one way or another from committee. I couldn't understand why there were only 2 hands up for and 2 hands up against on that second vote when there were more committee members.
Anyway, I hope you are right and I am wrong!

Jack.... You got it right. I checked what we reported and the Star and it did get the "Do Not Pass" recommendation. After that meeting I put the shooting video together for the story, but then I had to go up to Tipton County for the illegal alien story, so I never got to read the final script. Glad that I had misinterpreted the ruling!!!! That's good news!!!!

Hey, it's not a big gaffe and we all know the Dems were squirming in their seats with so many old white guys in the audience (excluding me and Joe King of course). LOL!!!!

It made me ill to watch Monroe Gray sit up on his high horse. I loved it when that guy called him out as being disrespectful for walking out while the public input was being made. All those council Dems are a bunch of uninformed, unwilling to listen, political monkeys IMO.
